StallsAll of our full board stalls are located in the main barn which surrounds the indoor arena. Many of our stalls have windows to let in the fresh air, and some have rubber matting for added comfort. Our foaling stall is heated and large enough for your mare's comfort during foaling. Foaling mares may be monitored from the heated lounge, and our barn manager is available to oversee the health and well-being of your mare during her labor and delivery. Additional amenitiesHot/cold wash stall: The well lit wash stall area is centrally located in the barn with plenty of warm water to keep your horse looking its best. Customized feeding plan: Each horse has a customized feeding plan. You may choose from our grain, or we will gladly feed grain you provide. Fly spray, blanketing: Our barn staff will apply fly spray you provide and will blanket and unblanket your horse as needed. Heated lounge & tack rooms: The barn has a total of two tack rooms, one serving each wing of the building. Boarders and their guests may use the heated lounge that overlooks the indoor arena. Trailer parking: Norfolk Heritage Farm offers limited trailer parking for a small additional fee. Please contact barn management to discuss arrangements. Indoor Riding Arena
Our indoor arena is connected to the barn for ease and convenience. Our boarders agree that not having to go out in the snow and rain is a big plus. The footing is a mixture of sand and rubber which provides a safe and comfortable base for the horse. Removable windows and large doors allow for air flow in nice weather. Outdoor Riding ArenaOur newly upgraded outdoor riding arena offers deep, soft footing that will particularly appeal to barrel and pole riders. The oversized space, which is fenced in board and post fencing safely accommodates large groups. Miles of trail ridingNorfolk Heritage Farm owns a large tract of land, but your trail riding opportunities are expanded considerably by the generosity of area landowners who allow our boarders and guests to ride on their land. Please contact barn management for a map and information about these trails.
